North Texas Head Football Coach Dan McCarney confirmed early reports that he suffered from a stroke and is the reason he was helicopter to a local hospital on Sunday evening.

After a workout, McCarney sat down to eat a sandwich when his left side went dumb. He was giving a series of tests and reports he is expected to recover fully from the incident. As of Tuesday morning he was still in the hospital with some tingling.
