Sun Belt Conference members faired well this week against Conference-USA members. Troy (2-2) knocked out UAB (0-4) 24-23. The Trojans trailed 23-14 going into the fourth quarter before returning a 52 yard interception back for a touchdown and with 5:18 left hit a 48-yard field goal.

Middle Tennessee (1-3) held off Memphis (1-4) in a contest that was close all afternoon. The game was tied with less than 2 minutes left before the Blue Raiders scored the game winning touchdown to take a 38-31 win before the hometown crowd.

North Texas was dumped at Tulsa 41-24. As a result of the loss, Sun Belt conference members went 2-1 CUSA members.

Sun Belt Conference member Florida International University (3-2) gave ACC member Duke(3-2) a run for its money before falling 27-31. FIU was up ten points during the fourth quarter before Duke make the  comeback victory.

In Sun Belt Conference action University of Louisiana-Lafayette (4-1, 2-0) moved one more step closer to winning the Conference Championship battling Florida Atlantic (0-4, 0-1) to a 37-34 win.
