North Texas will have several big name programs scheduled for football action in the coming years. Tentative out of opponents for North Texas in 2011 are Tennessee Sept 3^rd with Army at home and a road game against Tulsa. Both dates have not been announced. One date for an OOC is open.

In 2012 tentative out of conference game are Sept 1 at LSU, Sept 15 at Kansas State and a trip to Army with the date to be announced and one OOC game to be scheduled.

The 2013 schedule looks to be August 31^st at Georgia with Ohio coming in on Sept 7^th , Ball State making a trip to Denton on Sept 14th and Army coming in with the date and time to be announced. So a full OOC is planned.

In 2014 North Texas takes on Texas in Austin August 30^th.SMU will visit Denton, with North Texas traveling to Army and Tulsa with dates and times unannounced. Another planned full OOC schedule.

North Texas will travel to SMU and Iowa in 2015 with dates and times not firm at this time. There are two OOC dates open.

SMU and Tulsa is expected to make the trip to Denton in 2016with dates and times not posted and two more OOC game being worked on.

North Texas will travel to SMU and Iowa in 2017 with dates and times not firm at this time with two more OOC being negotiated.

Each year North Texas has at least one money game is planned, with others being worked one and needed to help fund all the sports at North Texas.

All the dates and times can change because of buyouts, television contracts and other conflicts. However, it’s nice to know Athletic Director Rick Villarreal and his staff are working hard to bring in high quality opponents to Denton.
