North Texas Athletic Director Rick Villarreal for several years has been trying to get more interest from the local community and support

In the effort he took to the road, rather downtown Denton, to bring the renderings of the new football stadium to a new fan base.

According to our reports, the room was basically full during part of the three hours plus the display was open to the public. Villarreal was at the location receiving most of the attention answering questions about the new football stadium and the upcoming football season.

There were several minor changes to the stadium but the biggest one noticed was the Jumbotron will be moved to the other side of the stadium.

North Texas fans were treated to the music of Chris Watson during the Twilight Tunes event which is co-sponsored by the Mean Green Junior Club.
