KSU by the numbers

There is no question the about the guard play for Kansas State. Senior Guard #21, Denis Clemente, 6-1, 180, is averaging 16.2 points a game. While Junior Guard #0, Jacob Pullen, 6-0, 200, is pouring in 18.9 points a game. 


Third on the team in scoring is Junior Forward, #32, Jamar Samuels, 6-7, 220, who is adding 11.9 points a game.

 

Fourth in scoring is Senior Forward, #24, Kelley Curtis, 6-8, 239 and he puts in 11.1 points a game.

 

Clemente and Pullen pull the main share of playing time. Clemente has been on the floor for 1,128 minutes while Pullen has pulled duty for 1,034 minutes. Kelly comes in third with 814 minutes. Clemente, Kelly, Pullen and Sutton have played in all 33 games this season.  

 

The KSU top rebounder is Kelly who grabs 6.3 balls a game. For the season he grabbed 21 offensive rebounds and 55 defensive boards.

 

Second rebounder is Junior Forward, #23, Dominique Sutton, 6-5, 218 with 5.8 rebounds a game and finally Samuels clears the glass with 5.2 grabs per contest.

 

Senior Center #15, Luis Colon, 6-10, 265 holds down the center spot with #2, Freshman, Jordan Henriquez-Roberts, 7-0, 245.  In the 24 games he played, Colon pulled down 4.0 rebounds and put in 2.9 points a game. Roberts played in 25 games getting 2.4 rebounds while adding in 2.2 points a game.

 

Freshman Forward #33, Wally Judge, 6-9, 248 contributes 3.1 points a game and 2.7 rebounds. Freshman Guard, #3, Martavious Irving, 6-1, 209 puts in 1.9 points a game and brings down .9 rebounds. Freshman Guard, #22, Rodney McGruder, 6-4, 205 puts in 4.1 points a game and 2.9 rebounds. Senior Guard, #31, Chris Merriewether, 6-3, 219 adds .8 points a game while getting 1.4 rebounds.
